Inflammation of the joints, otherwise known as arthritis. The disease can be slow to consume the patient, but if the patient knows it is happening or has direct a family member affected by it there are many ways to prevent and decrease the symptoms.

Castor Oil

Boil two tablespoons of castor oil over a stove burner, the oil is the poured into a glass of fresh orange juice and taken before breakfast until the disease has subsided or cured. One should note the disease may appear to be cured while it is only in remission.


Not just for guinea pigs, alfalfa is great for us to. Simply make a tea, be sure to include the seeds. One teaspoon of alfalfa seeds can be added to two cups of luke warm water. this tea should be consumed 4-5 times a day for 2-3 weeks.


We love lemons, but now lets talk about limes. The citric acid in limes is a solvent of uric acid which is the primary cause of arthritis. Before breakfast the patient should juice one lime, dilute with luke warm water and consume. It might be a good time to purchase a citrus juicer as they are wonderful for you.


Garlic contains an anti-inflammatory property which accounts for its effectiveness in the treatment of this disease. We prefer raw consumption. 


Rich in vitamin B6, bananas have proven to be useful against arthritis. A diet of only bananas for 4-5 days is advised in treating the disease, you can never eat to many, but be sure to drink a lot of water.

Sesame Seeds

Black sesames, taken in one teaspoon increments. Be sure to soak them in water overnight and consume the water used for soaking when consuming the seeds.

Raw Juices

Juicing! Juicing green leafy vegetables along with carrots, celery, root vegetables of all kinds like beets is very good for arthritis. The alkaline properties of raw vegetables dissolves the accumulation of deposits around the joints. Another great juice is raw pineapple juice, pineapples contain bromelain which reduces swelling and inflammation.

Green Gram Soup

mix one tablespoon of green gram in a cup of water with two crushed garlic cloves, take twice a day.
